No institution behind us, no sponsors, no ads, no algorithms. Just a group of friends running an online radio station from Athens because we believe it should exist.

Where Your Money Goes
The boring but essential stuff.
Running Parea Radio costs around €100 per month. Your support helps us cover what keeps the station alive day to day:
– Streaming server and infrastructure
– Website hosting and maintenance
– Mixcloud archive and metadata tools
– Equipment for our residents
– Artwork and design for shows and programming
We are a non-profit project. We don’t follow a business model because what we do exists outside of that logic.
The Bigger Picture
Right now, Parea Radio lives online.
But the long-term vision is a physical space in Athens, a studio where residents can record, where the community can gather, and where the parea becomes something you can walk into.
When that moment comes, we will launch a dedicated campaign with a specific goal and a transparent budget.
